Imagine my surprise... the new Nintendo Channel is actually pretty neat! It ranks a lot of games and gives geeky stats about them, you can download DS demos and it has videos of most wii, ds and most importantly, virtual console games. now i dont have to guess what the hell crazy japanese VC games are... i can watch a video of them.

very cool... although the download is MASSIVE.

we watched 'Teeth' tonight. its everything you'd expect a movie about vagina dentada to be. that is to say... pretty decent.

its no urban myth... in the film, she finds that villianous women from many pages of history had vagina dentada. shes looking for the hero to conquer her vag, meanwhile shes leaving a trail of corpses...

That is grotesque, and maybe one of the stupidest idea I have read about. What history books is she reading? I am going to kick myself in the ass for asking, but did they ever show it? For some reason I am picturing one of those 1950 health films for school, you know the ones that use to call a woman cycle "The Curse".

i should have said in historical mythology. mayans, christians, greeks, etc. a medusa type of character.

the dont show it... they do show a tooth that falls out of it, and many a severed penis.

the movie is actually pretty decent. it rides a line between feminist thriller and horror... it constantly has you waiting for the other shoe to drop, and half the time you dont know when its going to happen.

if it sounds interested, rent it. it just came out on dvd this week.
