we watched some 'Oz' and also watched 'Cover' tonight.

Cover is the blackest movie i've seen since 'belly'. it's got every b-list black actor in it this side of Bill Duke himself.

it's gorgeous to look at, the dvd looks like a blu-ray disc, but the story starts out very very very confusing. he keeps cutting around in the timeline a la pulp fiction and introduces about 50 characters in the first ten minutes. it evens out over time though. if i were a 40-something black woman in a stale marriage, i would have loved it. as a Bill Duke fan, it was alright.
