So word on the street is that the Devil May Cry 4 demo is supposed to hit today... or is it next Thursday? i haven't played one since... the first one? So i'm looking forward to trying it out.
also... i think PixelJunk Monsters is hitting today...
and maybe hastings will actually have No More Heroes in by the time i'm off work.
i'm in kind of an exciting (but difficult) section of Mass Effect...
i also have a disc and a half of 'Oz' to watch... and soylent green and harry potter 5 and 5 discs worth of Blade Runner. i need more hours in the day.

in other news... Netflix shipped me a DVD that was listed as having a 'Long Wait'... my top four films were all 'long wait' dvds, so i'm surprised that they sent it, but pleased...
i'm just curious... what films in your queue are listed as having a 'VERY long wait' or 'long wait'?
mine are...
Very Long Wait
- War
- Oldboy
- 3:10 to Yuma
'Dragonwars' has just a regular old 'long wait'.
In the 'Short Wait' category...
- Balls of Fury
- Eureka Season One (just discs one and two... oddly... maybe they only have one copy?)
- Monk Season One - Disc Three...
- Born into Brothels
- Payback: Straight Up: The Director's Cut
I have 129 discs in my queue, 20 of which are 'Oz'. I also have four films 'saved' as they have not been given release dates yet.
I've rented 38 discs since I joined on 10.29.07. 14 of those 38 discs were films. the rest are television shows. one of them i sent back without watching. i received it, opened it and mailed it back without leaving the post office.
I had been flipping about 3 discs a week using the '2 at a time' plan. now i'm flipping about 4 on the '3 at a time' plan. i dont go to the post office everyday, and i dont make a point of watching something or mailing something everyday.
I guess i spend a little over a dollar a disc for rental. so its about the same as a redbox, except with netflix i choose from about 90,000 films. i think redbox is about 150 titles.
obviously, so far i'm pretty happy with the service. its a damn sight better than gameznflix.com, thats for sure.
