I was thinking about it today, and my 'interests' section in my profile is beat. I mean, yeah, I'm interested in all that stuff... but much less so now than i was 8 years ago when I started my LJ. Veruca Salt is great and all, but yeah.... tired.

So... expect a reworking of my interest links very soon. I'm going to clean house. If you want to know what I was into several years ago... go. look. now. Not that any is, or ever will be.

Back in the early days of LJ, I met a lot of people just from them finding me from my interests... those days are long gone.

I've been thinking about doing a friends retrospective too... How often do you make new LJ friends? More now than at first? Often at all still? Rarely? I make some now and then... I think piecesofcandy was the last friend I made, just a couple weeks ago... randomly. and i'll add people from the gaming communities fairly often i guess, but they rarely update as it seems, or don't friend me back. I try to make good and introduce myself, but whatever.

Who was your first LJ friend? Or a few of your oldest friends? punkstar was my first, she turned me onto LJ. queenmab88 and brighten have been kicking around forever as well.... maybe a few others...
