Watched 'Sweeney Todd' tonight. Not bad... especially for a musical. Not all that great though either. I liked it well enough I guess.

i dig redheads too, but lewis just doesnt do much for me. bjork is what, damn near 50?, and she just oozes sexuality... thats enough for my vote.

i dig some older musicals... the fred astaire or audrey hepburn variety... i just dont often find them very interesting as the lyrics are smug and the melodies annoying. i like the sweeney todd story, i just kinda thought it would be... bloodier. haha... i mean, i know it was pretty bloody, i just thought he'd be doing more interesting, serial killer-ish stuff with his murders.

Did you watch the "unrated" version? I just heard that the US theatrical version was edited because the ending was too bloody.
