Ugh... fo and i have been so edgy lately. her arthritis has been bad, and this getting up early thing has taken some time to break in... at each others throats all day.

called best buy, luckily they have their stuff together because they found my warranty on the tv and are trying to get someone to service it soon.

called xbox and luckily i got someone really cool to work everything out. he didnt give me any bs at all. i dont know if they flagged me or whatever, but when i gave him the sevice number in response to the angry email i sent the other day, it was easy peasy at that point. they're sending a coffin my way right now and i'm $103 poorer. getting a free month of gold to make up for the month its in the morgue. its going to be WEIRD to not have it around. *sniff. i dont want to think about it...

now i can beat the 50000 ps2 games i stopped playing halfway through!

Mental floss did a little thing on 'Pet Sounds' this month. it made me remember how much i used to listen to it back in 2000. i was obsessed with it for a while (isn't every music fan at some point?) but its been at least a year since i've heard it... good stuff. i hate that brian wilson was 23 when he made it.

on yeah... and to albedo777's post... Drake Uncharted is pretty fun, if a bit unspectacular. it had more shooting and less exploring than i would have liked, and it was pretty short. i do like the characters though... yelling 'crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap' while falling out of a burning plane is pretty funny. worth a rental at least. it just didnt bowl me over like the last couple Tomb Raider demos did.
